Iker Muniain

Well at only 19 he is now in the Spanish national squad. That surely would suggest he is worth keeping an eye on at least.
Would love top see him here, but as it is now I doubt any young prospect will want to join us. They need to be playing week in and week out in order to develop and fulfil their potential. They know this won't happen at our club. I fully understand Christian Eriksen for example, or Hazard, who seem to give the pay-check lower priority than playing time. Good on them I say.

You tried saying Marin was better than Muniain.

May judgement on Marin was based on his two performances against Spurs in the CL, and he was outstanding in both games.

I don't watch Werder Bremen or Atletico Bilbao every week, I just watch the highlights sometimes and some of the youtube clips regarding these two players and I was more impressed with Marin.

I know its not enough to judge a player, but its my first impression on these two players.

Its a rather poor first impression. Iker is much more well rounded as a player. He is a calmer touch, better positioning, better finishing and an eye for a pass. He reminds me a bit of Henry 2.0 in some ways. He's not got blinding pace. But he is pacy.

At the present time, I'd have to agree with TevezCity that Marin might still be the better player. Both are inconsistent, but Marin on his game is actually Messi-like, Iker does things you don't expect from a player so young, and that shows blinding future potential. But in terms of just taking a game and owning it, Marin on his day is umplayable.

Agreed, but that day doesn't come often enough for marin.

Problem is Marin hasn't been on his game for quite a while now. He's been found out and defenders know how to deal with him, he's slipped in the pecking order with Bremen and Germany, surely that should tell everyone something.
