Immense performance tonight. My MotM by some distance.

Masterful. We started playing as soon as we started getting him on the ball. Since Spanish Dave's departure he's the one that gets us playing.

Excellent as usual this season - great on the ball as you would expect but won possession through interceptions numerous times tonight as well

Gundogan is so intelligent whenever he's on the pitch. His interceptions, his link-up play, his movements are always great. If he would have a little more pace and dribbling we would be talking about an all-time great.

Like many up until this season, never been Gundogan's biggest fan. But this season he has been sublime and tonight was another masterclass from Ilkay, he was literally everywhere and was our vital link up between defence and attack.

I'm not sure I've seen many better performances if any from him in a game where he didn't score.

Kdb and Foden taking the plaudits for excellent performances but Gundo was the glue that held it all together he was immesne tonight any f*ckers on here still think he cant win 50/50's and tackles need to give their heads a wobble, the complete midfield player.
