Ilkay Gundogan - 2018/19 performances

Nothing fantastic, but I feel he did bring an element of composure to our midfield just as Chelsea were really looking to turn the screw.

Did really well today when he came on, calm head and kept the ball when others were trying to force it and kept giving Chelsea the ball back. His shooting and set-pieces aren't great though, but the penalty is all that matters. Well done Ilkay

Thought he did well today and has done in recent weeks so fair play to him. He’s a likeable guy I think and I’m pleased it is working out for him here especially after his injuries

I thought we improved slightly when he came on. Kev and David are well below par at the minute.

Was good to have a midfielder on that wasn't constantly giving the ball away, kept it tidy which we needed

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but Gundy contributed more in his cameo appearance than merlin did all the game , much as some do not like it , Gundy is currently in better form and should be starting ahead of Merlin who has looked a little jaded recently , maybe a few games from the bench will re-charge his batteries , because if we are serious about lifting more trophies we need a fully fit and in form Merlin , without this its going to be tough , he is still vital to our midfield
