It also allows the defensive team to get back into shape which is, in a nutshell, exactly why Gundogan is so destructive to us and why our stats are comparatively appalling with him in the team playing as anything other than a single holding midfielder.

How Pep can't see it, I'll never know.

Well there are a hell of a lot more posts slagging of Gundogan than Bernardo so it's the same difference.

I think like many we all know a little bit about football, come on, maybe not to the extent of Pep but FFS, Gundo is not the man for us, he is so often exposed, look around the team, we have a shocking choice of defenders too, only Laporte would get in a future city team. Maybe in training Pep sees something we never seem to see week in week out, but out on the pitch he is bobbins!!!

    Yet again:
    Offered nothing offensively
    Offered very little defensively
    Doesnt carry the ball forward
Doesnt track back/ camt keep up.
    Zero leadership quality
Lots of aideqays passing yobretsin posession qhichbactually as he diesnt fo it quick enough leads to putting himself under pressure, loss of attacking chances and put us under more pressure
At 29 he shoould be one of the leaders..he aint even close

There is a real danger that we ste stuck with him as well

A point everyone ignores. It's laughable to note. Aguero brain fart and 2 Ederson errors is why we lost. Best City player on the park.

But hey, let's draw correlation facts instead of the truth. His hustle has gone up 2 notched too by the way.
