Then why post on this forum? This is meant to have discourse amongst city fans and discuss topics. You are in the gundogan performance thread and having a conversation with somebody regarding his performance.

And now your saying I dont need to convince anybody that gundogan is shit....

Then why are you on here? I actually dont understand the point.

I'm here to talk and comment on Gundogan's performances this season.

I'm not here to try convince a small fan boy minority ad nauseam of specific views held on him, nor submit to ridiculous demands for 'evidence' to justify commonly known facts.

Hope that clears it up.

It doesn't.

You just said you want to talk about Gundogan's performances this season, do you mean to just yourself?

You want to make statements in a vacuum?

What ridiculous demands? From a neutral city fan you make no sense. What commonly known facts? You clearly don't read on here considering there are many views against AND in support of Gundogan.

It sounds like you want to cry about Gundogan. Okay you did that, but don't attempt to take this intellectual high ground about "common sense", it actually sounds like you can't articulate the evidence against Gundogan when you say this, which is what I am going to assume unless you can.

I don't need to convince anybody - it's largely already taken as fact.

The only ones who don't seem to be a loud, noisy minority in this thread who specialise in circular arguments.
Hey, just so I can understand your point of view a bit more, what in your opinion constitutes a good Gundogan performance?

This is a player who Pep has just said is one of the best in the world and is now nominated for Etihad player of the month and ESPN player of the month. He is also nominated for Premier League player of the month on EA. Still, experts here denounce him. I do not understand whatsoever and to say he was our worsed player yesterday is laughable.

Badly needed runners from behind having a go at their defense to disrupt their organisation. He just stood there doing nothing, always staying close to the 50 years old fat referee

I haven't sat there and taken note of each individual performance against who and when. I don't know anyone who does that or could bring it up from memory, nor should you expect it from to qualify an argument. To demand 'evidence' in this instance is also a very weak tactic to resort to because even if the games were brought up, you'd refute the claims regardless. So, no point.

The people stating this have gained a solid idea and opinion of it from watching him consistently over a long period of time. It's not imagined.
As you say, all you are doing is stating your opinion. Your getting grief as you are assuming it to be fact.

I’m sure that would have nothing to do with the fact that when we are in the attacking third for 75% of the game, he is playing as our Quarterback, shuttling the ball left and right and looking for the one-two dink over the top!

What a silly comment about standing by the ref!

Gundogan has been IMMENSE since Rodri went down and Fernandinho has been playing CB. If you can’t see that, then I guess we have nothing to discuss.

Okay buddy :)

In fairness, I think Dave got a knock.

Cheers Dax, I was at the game and thought Dave was subbbed off.

Gabby was warming up on the pitch at HT so I knew he was coming on.

Didn't know Dave was injured just thought we were looking for a bit more firepower upfront.

Comments like this make me realize how many of you are so entitled. He is a starter for almost every other top team and is a squad player for us.

You want a new #8 in the summer? Foden and Bernardo are not playing much in midfield then.

You want a new #6?... We just bought one named Rodri, he is still alive you know.
It isn't entitlement it's reality.
City are now one of the top 5 clubs in world football and the people in charge want the absolute best. Gundogan isn't that.
