He doesn't sub particularly early usually because his plan 'A' seems satisfactory, if you look at his record he has actually managed to win a few matches.
He uses subs quite a lot when he considers a game won to rest players and if his plan is not working he is happy to substitute players.

I dunno about that. I can imagine some of that squad might not be too happy about playing in the Championship.
