Hahaha ...
Gundo picked on??
Come on man...
Guys like gundo don't get old.
They get smarter.
He won us the league at Everton with his two goals having scored two goals against Leeds the game before, then scored both goals in the FA Cup final and skippered us to the treble.

To say he’d slowed down that season is a total fallacy. Possibly an even bigger fallacy than Pep never making tactical subs.

He’s almost 5 years younger than James Milner who played in midfield for an excellent Brighton team at the weekend, alongside Danny Welbeck, who’s the same age and scored their second goal, he’s almost 3 years younger than JFE who started for the rags last week.
Other players who started last week who are older than Gundo include, Ben Mee, Idrissa Gueye, Michael Antonio, and Craig Dawson.
He’s 8 years younger than Pepe who played for Portugal in the Euros, he’d be 20th on a list of oldest players in Spain and, as someone has already posted, he’s 6 years younger than Modric,
I think there’s plenty of miles left in Gundo yet particularly given the fact that speed and/or physicality have never been a part of his game.

At absolute worst, he’s free and will be great around the squad.

As he was Barca’s best player last season and very good at the Euros, I’m sure we’ll get our monies worth.

Still need the mobilityto carry on too. We have to agree to disagree about the return of Gundo. I have plenty of memories of Gundo in a City shirt and even fully backed him when there were question marks over his signing.
