It's also on after the discussion that Gary James is chairing on the Friday night. I'll be going to that after doing my bit on the panel.
There are quite a few key activities at the Manchester Histories Festival that should appeal to fans. I've been working with the MHF for some time to pull together a good programme of football events and tickets are now available.
We've worked the activities so that attendees have the opportunity to go to them all. They are:
Thursday 1st March 6pm starting at the Malmaison - Me & Jonathan Schofield will take fans on a walk around key footballing sites of City & Utd in the city centre, followed by a football quiz.
Cost £6. Tickets from (midway down page under 'Manchester's Original Pub Tours'): <a class="postlink" href="http://www.jonathanschofieldtours.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.jonathanschofieldtours.com/</a>
Friday 2nd March 6.30 (Manchester Town Hall) - Football debate on Overseas ownership. Chaired by me. Panel includes Colin Savage, Dave Wallace, Andy Walsh (FC Utd), Dr Vanessa Toulmin & Dee Hynes.
Cost:
FREE (to finish in time for attendees to then go to I'll Be Bert)
Friday 2nd March 8.30 (Manchester Town Hall) - I'll Be Bert By Bill Cronshaw

Saturday 3rd March 10.30 (Friends Meeting House, across road from Town Hall) - A City United - My talk:

Everyone involved with the Manchester Histories Festival has put considerable effort into the programme and have shown a lot of faith in me, Bill and the others connected with the football related activities. The festival is likely to grow in future years and it would be really helpful if as many people as possible can attend these events.
I'm convinced you'll enjoy them all.
