You won't find a bigger Hughes out man than me but for us to start chanting and protesting for him to go next week is a throw back to the dark days of the swailes out campaign and that got us nowhere did it. I to think the guy isn't up to the job but let the owners decide when to pull the trigger. They have bought the club and invested the money, I'm sure they didn't do as well in business as they have done by suffering fools gladly. Sooner or later Hughes will be axed as he isn't good enough but the owners are astute people whom I trust to make the decision when they deem it necessary for the best with regard to their investment and for our club. If we start all the protest nonsense during the match it will reflect badly on us making our reputation as some of the best fans in the country vanish turning us into virtual rags ie glory hunting wankers. Finally I want Hughes out but not at the loss of our dignity his own ineptness will eventually find him out.

Absolutely spot on!

Brilliant post Bombo.

Lets show the lads the sort of support we showed them at the end of the Hamburg game. The support which sets us apart from the scum and most other clubs. Loyalty to the shirt and name ''Manchester City F.C.''

The powers that be will decide Hughes' future.

Excellent post. I found it difficult to sensibly argue the valid points you make in it..... with the exception of the highlighted part....

I'd like to meet you.

I am in the other camp mate but think your attitude is spot on, who ever is in charge and whoever plays be they good or bad we have to SUPPORT them thats our job, only exception is when you can see somebody isn't giving 100% for our club then they get a slagging :-)

HUGHES OUT!! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!!
I feel loads better now.

No demonstrations next week from me, it's not like we are fighting relegation is it.
The press would love it.

if you outshout the protests then democracy wins the day .the reputation of the fans is enhanced and we all live happily ever after.Could be a good indication of the size of the two camps .Fifty-fifty is widely quoted on here Looking forward to it

The OP has got it absolutely spot on. Hughes out but let's not get silly! Debate is one thing guys but protests and some of the vitriol and abuse being slung around here last night(by both sides) is just out of order IMO

Dont you think that Hughes position has become untenable? At senior managment levels in any walk of life around the world, once a situation arises regarding your fitness to carry on in what you are doing, it becomes a given that the said person just has to go.

Disregarding the rights or wrongs of whether he has or has not not a good job, it has become irrelevant imo and him staying will just result in more and more unwanted speculation/in-fighting.

He is effectivly a dead man walking and if ADUG allow it to carry on it will begin to do irreprable harm. Confidence has been lost and at the levels these people operate at, it will spell the end.

I will admit i am firmly in the Hughes out camp and i have given my reasons in many posts so will not go over them again here, but the politics involved here make it impossible for him to carry on.

it's their money so it's their call stay calm and he will dug his own grave
