..., but I'm pretty ill, I think!

Been back since Tuesday morniing, but have been struggling to eat and have have dehydration overdrive! My brain feels a bit scrambled as well, but that could be jet lag.

My thirst is constant and if I force myself to limit my drinking, every hour I pass water, my mouth feels drier and drier. I dunno if it's related, but I've dha two sandwiches in 2 days, both tasted really salty and I can't relly taste sugerd stuff.

I've thibnk iti have a problem, but so I got myself an emergency appointment today at 10.30. I don't suppose any one can hazard a guess as what might be up before I go, can they?

By the way, my nose is right up against the keyboard to type this out, I 've just realised.! That's not good

I'll sleep well at night now knowing Bigga's back zzzz

His wife must be a right laugh considering he felt the need to post all the way through his "honeymoon"

welcome back bigga. hope the doctor has sorted it out....doesn't sound pleasant, whatever it is.

Diabetes insipidus produces excessive thirst that is hard to satisfy. Urine output is increased, sometimes up to as much as 15 quarts a day. The urine amounts clear and colorless. The dehydration of the body leads to dry skin and constipation. If the condition progresses, lethargy, confusion and coma can occur. Generalized weakness and irritability of the muscles may develop.

Yep. Just been told I have Type 2. I have to chill now. No sports, no sugar, no 'nice food', til I get it all 'under control'. Apparently, it may take some months as I'm 4 times over my blood sugar limit.

4HB can now feel free to laugh at my expense.

Bigga saw the 5a side thread and thought he would get his excuse in early ;-)

Seriously, good luck with it.

I've just seen the 5-a-side thread! You've no idea how gutted I am! First thing I said to the doc was about whether I could still play footy! She looked at me all stern-headmaster-like and said 'No! Not til we get it under control!'!.

Hey, at least I tried!
