Ok, Ok,

We won, and we're second, but I'm really not happy at the soft goal we conceded at the death...that goal could cost us on GD at the end of the season....Their man was completely unmarked after the corner kick.

It was the same against the rags last season,...when are we going to learn?, you need to concentrate right until the final whistle.

I hope RM drills this into them in the after match inquest.

Otherwise, great result against very stubborn opposition.

good point, sloppiness is always unforgivable, we needed to win so, so badly and desperation can lead to unforced errors, that 3 points could be more important than a "lost" goal :D

Look at it this way, what happens when we start playing well? It was always going to be difficult in the first part of the season. We're second, we're one point behind an ageing Chelski team, we're above the rags, and we're title contenders (even if it is early days). Bottom line is we're picking up the points and we're only going to get better. How many times have you seen the rags win the league by picking up all three points without performing well. Then they start building up a head of steam post Christmas, the performances get better and better and their champions in May. We have every reason to believe that we'll be there or thereabouts by the time we travel to Bolton on the last day of the season.

Not happy, indeed. FFS.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its a fair point. We didn't look our usual solid self today from set pieces.

Kolo + Kompany + a fired up De Jong in front of them is our premium combination. Anything else in the middle as we seem just as shaky as last season under Hughes. With Boateng looking like he may take time to settle and Kolarov still injured, meaning our full-back areas remain vulnerable also, we have to try and keep both Kolo and Kompany fit or the goals will start to leak in like today.

Good point. Both goals from set plays. However, in the context of a game that for a long time was in the balance I am happy with it.

You're right though and for what it's worth don't necessarily need to 'chill'. Although conceding is always going to happen, if you're striving to be the best then there is always room for improvement. If the manner of it can be worked on then why not?
