Image files that are too large

Apologies if there is another thread about this (I couldn’t find one), but often I can get an error that the file is too large when I try to upload a picture on to here. I usually just ask ChatGPT to make it a smaller file, but you only get a certain amount of image uploads per month. Anyone got any other ways to make the file smaller? (On iPhone 13)

Not on iPhone myself but you should be able to email the picture to yourself, it will ask you to select a size to send. Download the smaller version and you're done.

One of my personal pet peeves that. Something like "send us a scan of every page of your passport." Followed by "Sorry, that file is too big to upload."

I've found that if you send the photos to WhatsApp and then attach them there's no problem

I have tried to post tons of pics in the photos thread with no luck. Never used to have a problem. It would give the option to make smaller.
