Images on here from tinypic ?

When ever someone posts a picture from tinypic on here I only get....

"image"

.....and no picture.

As a mod I need to see these pictures in case they are dodgy. If I quote the post I can see the URL to the image, and if I copy and paste that to my browser I can then see it no problem, but its a ballache, especially if I'm approving a post.

Anyone any idea why this is ?

I would imagine its firewall related some how, and I use McAafee, and firefox on windows 7.

Yes strangely I can.

It means that the users using tinypic aren't using the correct link for their images.They need to use the link given in the 'Direct link for layouts' box.Either that or they arent using the IMG tags.

Good, so its not me then, I don't normally need to ask techy questions, so its a relief.

I now know I need to edit the posts to get the image to show for others.

I have the same problem with images from tinypic
just get image on screen no actual image
i know other people can see the images because of the comments afterwards
i use firefox but on occasion ie8 not as bad in ie8 more pics load up but still not all of them
I hate using ie8 tho so thats not a solution

The issue is due to bandwidth, intermittent problem!!

If you connect from High speed LAN no issues!!
