I was just thinking about that. I actually sat behind the guy that operated that scoreboard from the Main Stand on a couple of occasions, although he never seemed to have a fucking clue what he was doing, much the same as the rest of the club at the time.

In the CB Lower we always used to get free ponchos when it rained, until last season when suddenly they were not available. Not that it bothered me I didn't like them, although now and again I would take one to put over my knees. (I'm on the front row, I don't stand, live with it!!)

Plus if they are the same type of ponchos they don't keep you dry anyway.

Fuck me! Countless posts from City fans over the years crying out for the ground to be expanded. Some rich guy comes along and answers those requests. Is being without a roof for a short period of time such a big deal?
