the rest really didn,t like what henry had to say, in fact they were trying to talk over him half of the time, at the end custis conceded some ground to the fact city will get champions league football next season, i found it somewhat surprising that they talked about city more than they did united, i know now that they know that it was a fluke win and they know city are not far off? i also got the impression that they did not want to really commit themselves to a united title when asked?

Winter has his good points. His writing is a little over stylised sometimes. And he certainly spends far too much of his life bothering about nationalism. But in terms of domestic PL football, he's by far no where near the worst journo.

I would add however, that he has connections at the club, Marwood being one, so does tend to stick up for us a little more than others.

I think most journalists aren't idiots and see this but look to save their own skin and write what keeps them in a job.
