probably best not to speculateThe videos clearly show that the car was being punched and kicked before anyone was hit & he was sounding his horn to alert people he was coming through.
However...that in no way justifies the driver accelerating into a crowd of innocent people at speed. Even when a clear path opens up, he appears to steer away from it and towards the crowd instead.
He may have felt threatened, scared or whatever but nothing excuses that in my opinion. He will have some sort of a defence in court but I imagine it won't hold up.
Let's just pray for no fatalities.
