Just after half time, as people were coming back in, an old(er) lady fell face first down the steps between the two blocks.
It's near the press/stats bit, and plenty of people were quick to react, including Natalie Pike.

What was odd though, is that it took a couple of minutes before any steward was on the scene, and close to 10 minutes before Paramedics arrived. Pretty shambolic really, and considering the amount of blood, I reckon she was in a bad way.

Not dissimilar to the Everton fan in our game at Goodison earlier this season where it took Sergio to attract the attention of the stewards and St John's ambulance people!

The stewards were alerted immediately if it was the one at 125 rather than 123/124? Unless there were 2 incidents in adjacent aisles? I know from speaking to the St John's Ambulance people after the game that 2 ambulances were despatched to the hospital today. Plus some first aiders from round where I was sitting went to help.

First aiders came up and were dismissed by some jobsworth in a green hi-viz who wasn't helping at all by letting people still come down the steps to their seats, personally felt it could have been dealt with better. Still, all's well that ends well.

EDIT: Apologies, there's no block 124, it was the 123/125 steps.
