What happened?, i gave up looking after 20 seconds, i started to get neck ache.

Saw the Police and a bloke shouting at someone who was sat in the corporate area seats.

that'll be the 6 Evertonians who decided to jump up when they got there 1st.Was sat 6 rows in front of em.Set of cunts.A few of us charged over to tell em to fuck off but they were 6 foot above us.One lad jumped up and i thought he was going to kill one of em.The stewards then the 50 fucked em off.

Typical Everton fans, i was a few rows infront also, thaught that ginger guy was gonna tw@t him. Don't really know why the stewards stood off for a minute.

Bit shit tho ain't it when you think bout it..? wantin to hit someone for celebratin a goal..? shout abuse, give em the finger, demand they be moved etc, but I don't get folk who have no self control and can only respond to summat like that with violence...shows a lack of intelligence methinks...

I agree, although from what I saw they were doing more than just celebrating.

One in particular probably deserved a smack on the way out.

Everton fury as Gary Cook has VIP fans kicked out of Eastlands

Published 23:00 25/03/10 By Alan Nixon

Furious Everton want an apology from Manchester City chief executive Garry Cook after he had a VIP fan and his wife thrown out of Eastlands.

The Goodison club are angry that influential property millionaire George Downing and his wife were ejected by security men at Cook’s request following heated words during their game.

Relations between the clubs have been strained since the Joleon Lescott transfer affair and insults were hurled following Everton’s second goal in their shock 2-0 success on Wednesday night.

Cook was unhappy at the taunts from the away fans and thought the Everton VIPs were taking the mickey too - singling out Downing, who was a special guest of the Toffees board.

At the final whistle security men escorted Downing and his wife from the ground - and now Everton have demanded an apology for their behaviour.

Downing is so upset that he may take his own personal action against Cook if the record is not put straight and the £1.5 million-a-year City supremo will be under pressure to say ‘sorry.’

Everton admitted last night that they wanted City to apologise and spokesman Ian Ross said: “I can confirm we have written to Mr Cook to ask for his observations.”

I was in the directors box( OK I know!) but have to say the Everton fans were behaving like a bunch of arses. It took a fair bit of control for everyone. They have been responsible for the ill feeling over the Lescott affair, making allegations but not having the balls to make it official, then their manager publishing inflammatory notes in the programme all the time forgetting that we loaned them a player. Classless bunch! This is the best they'll ever be, comforting.
