All that for some likes? As said above, some people need to take a bit of responsibility for themselves, and not just in front of the camera. Seems many think that behaving abhorrently abroad is just fine, and the issue is as influencers they can literally do just that and spread the harmful behavior. What happened to being a role model, too? You like nature and the outdoors? Great, have some adventures, entertain us, make some money, but don't be a dick. Trouble is, idiot behavior is getting bigger notoriety and rewards.
There's are some really good and informative social media accounts out there, but the ones that hit the big time are often these shock value and fake idyllic life ones. Oh, and the political and conspiracy ones too.
Seems infamy is seen as just as good as being famous, and probably easier to achieve. I see she's come out with "it was only held for 60 seconds" and "it was as returned safely to the mama", whereas really she should just be admitting she's a complete dumbass who knows nothing about wombats yet is happy to heap stress and upset and potentially injury on them, i.e. inflict animal cruelty, to realize her lifelong dream of holding a wombat and maybe some strangers gifting her some views, likes, dosh and increased advertising revenue.
That guy laughing in the video too, what a prick.. hahaha look the Mama's coming for her baby! Who in their right mind thinks that's ok? Only way this stops is when this behavior is held accountable, and enough of the punters lapping it up have a moment of self realization and switch off.
She'll probably skulk off and have an OF account by Easter, if she doesn't already, play on the wombat angle and profit off it even more. At the very least, she owes the Australian people an apology and an outfit such as Wombat Rescue a significant donation
