ok so hughes inherited players from the previous boss and needs to bring "his" players in. however it is the most pathetic excuse for our poor form. sven inherited a bigger pile of shit than hughes but still did something with it. and every new manager inherits players but that shouldn't be a problem if your management skills are good.
redknapp inherited a bottom 3 side now incredibly hard to beat
as did joe kinnear
so just to say to all those who keep citing this as an excuse for hughes' poor performances that it isn't at all an excuse. a manager has to manage what he has. fair enough he may want to bring more of "his" players in but he can't at the moment and so he has to work with what he has and we all know they are far better than bottom 3.
so how can it be an excuse?
