Injuries 2024/25 | Ake & Bobb return to training

We need an NFL team size squad to cope with these fucking injuries. Absolutely fucking shit this season.

Why do van Dijk and Salah never get fucking injuries?

BBC opened a have your say on this in order to allow the usual '115' cunts to smear us.

This is just one of the comments: "Corruption from their dictator owners? Sounds likely."

Moderators on the BBC are all rag wankers. I reported it and they replied saying it doesn't break the house rules!
Just reply on a United story with the exact comment and I guarantee an algorithm will remove it immediately.

At this point you really need to be asking questions of our medical and fitness teams as to why we are constantly picking up these injuries.
We really dont , we play seventy games a season, nobody else does and we have had a very intensive four years . The players are older and breaking down ,it is a transion season

Yet we are the bad boys for our alledged glutonous spending and here we have Chelsea who in my opinion have the correct model. 2 fucking squads in reality. Moving forward the number of games we play as a club we simply cannot continue without significant investment in January.amd.summer.
Chelsea can make 8 maybe 9 changes every week and it is clearly starting to pay dividends.
Yep, it was obvious Chelsea would turn the corner sooner or later, and they now look set for the long term future, whereas we need to start again

Another quick point, how many muscle injuries do we pick up as a club? It's beyond a joke and the training regimen clearly isn't conducive to playing full seasons.

Here's hoping Johnny can stay fit for over 45 mins.
Up until this season we have had far fewer than average number of muscle injuries etc.
Our medical team has previously generally been recognised as excellent.

It is pretty clear that this season 1) We have had a pretty short break for many of our players who were involved in the Euros etc and have had successive long seasons and 2) the injuries to some have increased the workload on others. I reckon our medical team is probably pretty good but they are not miracle workers.

Other big problem nearly every player has to commit to their national teams we don’t ever seem to pull our players out of call ups especially when it’s only friendlies and that ridiculous new euro crap during the season then gets compounded by actual tournaments
The only time this has worked is when the tournament is in winter

The unnecessary high line , the lack of actual full backs and the non-existent pressing - all contribute to this injury crisis.

That was in the past. Staff turnover is very frequent in the world of football

This comment is totally defamatory. Incredible that the BBC are happy to publish this sort of content.

And that's where we used to be.

Having 4 strikers like Tevez, Balotelli, Dzeko, Aguero to choose from.

Having a plethora of forwards to choose from like Sane, Sterling, Foden, Mahrez, Bernado.

Then a back line with a choice of Walker, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Delph, Zinchenko, laporte,

Now we can barely string a decent 11 together.
