Every team gets match injuries and that's understandable in a contact sport like this, but the majority of our injuries come in training which is of bafflement to supporters, especially when those injuries then stretch out from the odd game out to multiple months of inactivity. Added to this, there are match injuries which don't arise from contact but instead it comes from strains and sprains. And we have even had players withdrawn from games after injuring themselves in the warm up. Some serious issues to be addressed here!Ok have a go at the medical .
But it's not all down to the medical staff .
I see it week after week our players don't get enough protection from the referees .
Another clown refereed us again today .
Aguero got clattered but no yellow card from Taylor .
He played advantage when we had no attacker. . Ha ha ha Taylor .
[we are allowed a 25 man squad we choose to fill our 25 man squad with only 18 outfield players and 3 goalkeepers. we could have 23 outfield players and maybe 2 keepers and another keeper on our under 21 list. only 2 players on our under 21 list have started premier league games. I also said we have an aging squad and pellegrini will not blood any youth players. which part of this is bollocks mr domalino? We have the same size squad. Everything he said is bollocks.
Its fair to say that we have and should have a squad that can cover for injuries more than most, but all the same the fact that we are still fighting on all fronts having had the freakish
amount of injuries really is overlooked. Fantastic effort really and makes you think some of the criticism the team and manager have taken this season is a tad wide of the mark.
Right so when Silva was injured that was down to City .Every team gets match injuries and that's understandable in a contact sport like this, but the majority of our injuries come in training which is of bafflement to supporters, especially when those injuries then stretch out from the odd game out to multiple months of inactivity. No it wasn't that was down to some unknown player from Luxembourg clattering him .
When Aguero got injured this season that was down to someone clattering him in an international match .
When De Bruyne got injured that was down to another clattering from an Everton player .
When Navas got injured that was down to a clattering from some player from Sunderland .
It's safe to say your right about the likes of Kompany , Nasri ,Clichy ,and Delph .
They've all had injuries that are unexplained .
Our injury issues this season have been, frankly, ridiculous. The number of players who have missed games has been huge, and in many cases it's not been a game or two they've missed, it's been a hatful.
City have played 38 games in all competitions this season, to date here's how many games the following players have not played a part in during those 38 games. Now, some absences might be due to resting players, or inactive subs, but it's still a decent measure:-
Clichy - 26 games missed
Kompany - 26 games missed
Nasri - 30 games missed, with a minimum of another 10 still to be missed.
Zabaleta - 28 games missed
Delph - 18 games missed
Mangala - 18 games missed
Silva - 15 games missed
Bony - 15 game missed
Fernando - 14 games missed
Aguero - 13 games missed
De Bruyne - 7 games missed, with a minimum 12 to 13 still to be missed.
That's ridiculous.
Compare it to Leicester, they've played 30 games, 8 less than City, here's their main players, and how many games they've not taken a part in:-
Drinkwater - 5 games missed
Morgan - 5 games missed
Huth - 6 games missed
Vardy - 3 games missed
Albrighton - 1 game missed
Kante - 2 games missed
Simpson - 10 games missed
Okazaki - 4 games missed
Mahrez - 4 games missed
Fuchs - 9 games missed
Just contrast those figures with ours. It tells a very clear story.
As I said above, not participating in a game doesn't necessarily mean you're injured you could be rested, or an unused sub, and it's worth noting City have more opportunity to rotate than Leicester do given their squad make up, but the huge number of games missed by key players for City, compared to Leicesters almost total inclusion of said players, can't be ignored.

Think Aguero has had 3 instances this season
First was Scott Dan's knee high tackle at Palace Dan got yellow instead of red
Second was thigh playing for Argentina
Third was heel following heavy landing
Navas did his hamstring v Sunderland
Nasri has had a groin operation something he has had a problem with for awhile
Delph hamstring twice and kick on calf v Villa
Overall its too many games with its associated travelling, air travel isn't good for injures, should play kids in CoCup and a few injuries cropping up for internationals
