Injury Updates

Let's see how many more injuries we get after the game against Leicester. With Michael Oliver as the referee, my guess is another two injuries to add to those that we have already.

He will most likely book our players and let Leicester get away with a lot of dirty fouls on us with out booking any of them.

Peps always pushed the governing bodies to protect the players and you’ve got to admire the way he doesn’t bore on about injuries that crop up during season, in-fact he loves these type of challenges.

One of his famous quotes “it is what it is”
would make a great T-shirt with trophies underneath?

Sterling of mahrez false 9, get a goal or 2 up then bring Delap on and get him used to Prep , once c9nfodent let him play as main striker till the pther 2 are fit again.

Why not, give the lad a chance, look at calvin-lewis, Abraham, rashford. All blooded in times when the teams.were short of strikers through injury, now all established, plus the risk is minimal as we have enough AM that can bag goals those other teams did it out of desperation we can do it to advance his progress

The business side of the club is in fast reverse which is a major concern!
A world class team, asset rich club, muddling along with 2 strikers, for what seems like for ever is gross self destruct!
Aguero will always miss portions of a season.
Jimenez from Wolves very very quickly.
Don’t want to hear about false 9’s or Gundogan up front.
We are no longer competing for The Full Members kin cup!!!!!
What absolute nonsense.

We only tend to play 1 striker so were hardly 'muddling along'. We are not paying money for a 3rd striker who won't even get on the bench when Sergio & Jesus are both back.

I'm guessing you're not in 'business'.

I think you’re missing the point my good friend!

Yes we only play 1 striker and we have options in terms of attacking players
Aguero has been out for months already
Jesus could pick up a long term injury.

We are not paying for a striker when we are the richest club in the world and money is not an issue is a subject you have not been able to move on from since the Swales era?

Keep up mate!
If we fail to pick up maximum points while the 2 are out, the league could be over.
“You can’t win the league in the first 10 games but yes you can lose it!“

Youre the epitome of someone who wins the lottery, continues to work down mine and won’t upgrade your tenement housing!

Move on and move up!!!!

In business you have to look at succession planning. Aguero isn't going to be sticking around too much longer due to age and injuries. I don't think Mike the Citizen is far off the mark.

This 'money is not an issue' nonsense, can I ask where it comes from?
Having a wealthy owner no longer means you can buy who you want when you want, unless FFP and our very successful business model have been shelved in the last week..

Jesus, you don't half chat some shite.

Aguero will be back at the same time as Jesus so how long he's been out is of no concern.

Jesus could pick up a long term injury? Should we buy a top class goalie in case Ederson, Steffan & Carson pick up long term injuries? How about cover for KdB just in case?

We're not buying a striker because he'd be sat on the bench or in the stands when they're both back. Money has nothing to do with it you clueless idiot. Who do you suggest we lose from the rest of the squad so we can waste a spot on someone who will never play?

You're the epitome of a dick.

Succession planning is totally different and is something that City are very good at, the idiot is suggesting a quick fix now.
