That G4S continue to get trusted with any private work like this is staggering, and they will get more in the future. These cuts have been so brutal and it cant continue.

Quite a bit more serious than that. It looks like there is a riot ongoing there, spread now to 4 wings. Said one officer "it's probably most serious riot in a B category prison since Strangeways went up" in 1990.

He said he was getting reports of one badly injured prisoner, inmates getting into the offender management unit (OMU) and destroying records and the prison gym being invaded.

They have been threatening prison staff with syringes. I wouldnt like that when Im just at work

I'm not sure if prisoners realise that as long as they are still inside the general public don't care at all what they do. I'm not going to lose any sleep if they lynch a few nonces and trash their own living space.
