Really need to get some weights to start complimenting the cardio stuff.
I found the protein shakes for repair were so important for me. Certainly sped up recovery.
Definitely get some weights,although what I will say is that adding,or even maintaining mass,while attempting to stay lean,past the age of 40,becomes very,very difficult - yes,i am speaking from experience!
Youre right about protein,its essential for any type of training,the shakes are very convenient and even cost effective.
