Total WUM.

NDJ isn't going anywhere, unless a sizeable bid comes in for him, similar to what we paid (if not more)

£8mil. for Nige, having a laugh.

He has been influential for us this season, would Yaya of scored the goal at Newcastle if NDJ hadn't of gone on the pitch?

We need him.

With 1 year left on his contract he won't cost more than 10M.

Nasri cost 25M. With 1 year left on his contract...
Didnt we pay Hamburg 18M for him when he had a year left on his contract? (NDJ that is)

true but thats the city premium, its either 8m now or he gets to negotiate with inter in Jan and leave for nowt in may, the 8m will go towards DDR

hate to say it as he's been a rock for us, but think his games for us are gonna be at a premium next season....no doubt he has helped us to where we are, but to take us up a gear and to another level I'm not too sure.
defo don't think he's worth 100k a week....but then again footballers who are worth that are few and far between!

*prepares for a barrage

Actually think he has improved this year although his playing time has been limited.

Not so "crablike" and has actually passed some good forward balls!

Would miss him if he leaves sound player sound bloke!

But understand if he wants more first team football.

What do you guys think of this?> I quite like De Jong, real gritty tough tackler

Always wondered if he play centerback. Think he could do a job for us in carling matches.

I can see where you are coming from but he dives in too much to play at CB and is probably a bit short as well.

Give him the $ he needs and sign him up for the next four or five years!

If we go far in all the cups this year, there will be plenty of games for Nigel. There's few if any better than him in the role he plays.

As I said before, no club will offer more than 10 M Pound for him and it seems now what I said was right.

Don't want him to leave but I would rather see him happy and playing week-in week-out for a team like Inter as opposed to him sitting on our bench. However, he is the perfect player to have on the bench for the last 20-30 minutes of those games where your winning 1-0 or 2-0 and its time to shut up shop. And he allows Yaya to push up.
