Yes m8 it's his son.
Is Windass any relation to Dean?
The story I heard was that the EFL (or FL as it was) knew Dale was dodgy but allowed him to take over as the alternative was going bust immediately because no-one else wanted to buy the club.Thats great to hear, BUT, until this split can be mended or worked round the prospect of a team playing competitive football at Gigg Lane is still a dream. Such a pity that the Football League allowed Steve Dale to be involved without (apparently) carrying out full and comprehensive background and fitness checks.
The perception is that American owners, or British for that matter are fine. Whereas Arab/Middle East owners; well, they're horrible, smelly, human rights abusing Johnny Foreigner types, innit?

It’s getting beyond a joke how many clubs are owned by yanks.Huddersfield have been taken over by...*tin hat firmly on*....Americans
I agree tbh. We needed someone as we were days away from going into administration, and this at least keeps our slim hopes of survival alive, but I would have much rather had someone with some kind of connection to the club. Unfortunately, beggars cannot be choosers. It’s getting beyond a joke how many clubs are owned by yanks.
Not a dig at your club, more to do with the amount of yanks gaining control over our game.I agree tbh.
