International Break: How are we doing?

Sorry to have to correct you but we would actually be top.

Two more points for us would put us on 15pts and one less for Arsenal would also put them on 15pts.

Our goal difference would be +10 as would Arsenal's but our goals scored 15 would be two more than the Arsenal total of 13.

Better to keep a lower profile though at this early stage of the season.

I don't like waiting 2 weeks for the next premier League games.
Next season we will have to wait 3 weeks. I know it's only 2 breaks instead of 3, but I don't like it.
 
I have got the lurgy and to remind that things could be worse, I watched England. I am seriously worried. How good a team have barcelona got if they can make rashford look anything like a footballer.
 
I detest these international breaks. I couldn't care less about international football; my focus is solely City. If none of our players were selected by their countries, I'd be delighted. Give them a chance to recharge the batteries. But I know full well that won't happen. I suppose it reflects well on the club that so many of our players are first choice for their countries.

Most people in England don’t give a fuck about England till the tourney every other summer for 1 month, and if they go for a 48 team World Cup it will be only giving a fuck for the last two weeks.
In other words, 4 weeks out of 208.
 
I hate em, they should all be played once a year over a couple of weeks to get shut of em. I cannot be arsed watching any except for the sake of seing our boys play and hopefully make it through unscathed

I hear you. I live in the USA so I get that mid level team to root for. Knockout stage/QF is about all I can hope for. But I don’t care about international football as even the World Cup doesn’t pique my interest as much as an average mid week City game.

Note to media: City’s new team and tactics are bedding in nicely. You may not have noticed that our head coach is no slouch. 7 on the bounce unbeaten now.
