International Break March

Well Pep said he won’t stop players going on international duty totally different take to the red scums.

It would be absolute madness to let them go and jeopardise all we’ve worked for.
They stay home and get a much needed rest or we risk having half a dozen of our best come back a mess from ludicrous internationals

I worry about these international breaks derailing our season with players getting covid

Nightmare, this. Our players should all do a Giggsy and say they're unfit. Then miraculously be ok for our run-in. If anything is going to derail our chance at a clean sweep, it's this.

Fair point, but a bit hypocritical of the liverpool manager if he’s allowing them to travel for Champions League games no?

Not at all.

The CL represents no more danger than a league game. The clubs are in their semi-bubbles, they go by private plane or bus to a hotel, play a game, come back. It involves 2 bubbles mixing for 90 minutes during a game.

International breaks involve 40+ bubbles from clubs all over the world mixing not just during a game, but during training, on the bus/plane hotel.

They are completely different situations. The proof of which is the fact there's been no covid outbreaks after Champions League fixtures, but the last international games saw dozens of players have to isolate after testing positive on return.

If Liverpool & Manure won't allow their players to travel overseas owing to quarantine risk then surely we should follow suit, especially where our Portuguese & Brazilian players are concerned.
This is an interesting test.

Will FIFA punish them or the players with a ban or just ignore it?
