Wales/Ireland/Northern Ireland all with tough draws, hard to see any qualifications

My thoughts too.

FIFA want Italy at the WC and probably base them in New Jersey.

He also scored the fourth goal on the day, making the third goal, a moot decision. Hurst wasn’t a cheat. You’re clutching a straws a bit there and going back almost 60 years.

Am confident Wales, at home, can win both games.
Italy, under Gattuso, are very unpredictable and emotional.
As long as Wales are calm and cool headed, think the Italians could implode.
Hope Ireland get through, but surely Denmark (and Sweden) must improve soon ?

Pretty much every scotland fan probably thought the same at that moment lets be honest. Completely different players, and Doak was the only outlet up the park with pace and the ability to run at defenders. Mclean is a decent enough centre mid but at the time it looked like a negative switch.

I like the look of the intercontinental playoffs; Jamaica vs New Caledonia, with the winner meeting DR Congo, and Iraq playing the winner of Bolivia/Suriname. They look like random friendlies you arrange on FIFA or PES. If Suriname qualify, there will be 4 Dutch speaking nations at the World Cup.

Agreed. Two poor teams. Northern Ireland finished third in their group, Sweden bottom of theirs.

My first Northern Ireland away game was in Cardiff 2004. 3 red cards, finished 2-2. It was an eventful evening on and off the pitch
