Pathetic rule. if mbappe isnt there garcia doesnt try to play it so by definition hes interfering with play. Hate that interpretationSpot on, a little known rule

It just is, if the ball touches Garcia but he was not attempting to get the ball that is offside, the crux here is he went for the ball AND touched it, not my rule pal, it’s part of the offside law. Btw, I think it’s ridiculous. How's it any different from a keeper parrying the ball to another opposition player in an offsite position, who then puts it in the net? Always called offside for that.
It does. Lots dont understand the law. The officials included. Shockingly badThought the touch had to be intentional, not just a flick off a player?
it absolutely isn't. the pass is heading to mbappe. garcia is trying to intercept the pass. it's as clear as offside as possible, he's not "playing the ball".Yes it does.
Lots on Twitter saying Garcia got a touch so not offside.
again, completely nonsensical. a keeper is "trying" to save the ball and it's still offside! stop making stuff up.It just is, if the ball touches Garcia but he was not attempting to get the ball that is offside, the crux here is he went for the ball AND touched it, not my rule pal, it’s part of the offside law. To be fair, he goes on his linesman's call there. And VAR doesn't overrule it.Alty is firkin clueless.
