It just is, if the ball touches Garcia but he was not attempting to get the ball that is offside, the crux here is he went for the ball AND touched it, not my rule pal, it’s part of the offside law. Btw, I think it’s ridiculous.

it absolutely isn't. the pass is heading to mbappe. garcia is trying to intercept the pass. it's as clear as offside as possible, he's not "playing the ball".

Doesn't matter if it's come off of Garcia's foot in this scenario, Mbappe's still offside from the pass.
