Another boring 14 days, roll on Burnley
Looks like Carson might be getting some Pep from pep in the lead up to Burnley.

the dates committing our keepers and Jesus to games are a joke.

I hope we refuse to release our relevant players once again given the covid protocols.

Some meaningful arrangement has to be sorted out to give all international players the opportunity to participate in all games if chosen.

I always thought FIFA had a rule they have to have the games done wednesday before the weekends fixtures. Piss take we pay the players wages and they’re still in fucking brazil a day before we play.

steffen plays wednesday night US time so he’ll be cutting it close too.

Agreed and I am not aware that the issue regarding player isolation protocols from country on red lists has been resolved either.

if it hasn't I suggest the clubs will bunker down and while I am being selfish and I am sure players want to represent their country as often as possible Brazil is 8 from 8 and could qualify playing locals I suggest given many of their rivals are in similar predicaments.

FIFA have granted additional time for these international breaks due to having to catch up with games that weren't played during the pandemic. So now they are playing 3 matches and not just 2 as previously.
