Investigation in Liverpool's 'hacking' of our computer systems

Yet.

Don't be surprised if they aren't already adjusting their rules to to ensure we can't bring retrospective action despite new evidence coming to light just to protect a certain club.

Wouldn't get odds from paddy power on that seeing there 1 of the 2 who picked him for the job,
Depends if we have irrefutable evidence & only deal with facts..

With Livarpool having already paid the club £1million. They must have admitted that they were guilty. The club should now go after the individuals who did this hack and get further damages from them.

Having already admitted that they are guilty, they now can't say they are now not guilty of this offence. The club made a big mistake in not informing the Premier League about this breach. They also should have taken both Livarpool and the individuals to court for damages. Once this breach came to light, the club should have informed HIM and let the police handle it.

That's the problem, it was a settlement without an admittance of guilt as far as I know.

Looks like we let them off lightly

Ticketmaster has paid a $10m (£7.3m) criminal fine for "intrusions into competitors' computer systems", the US Department of Justice has confirmed.

That's in the States though. When cruise control first came to market some stupid woman used it on her Winnebago and went to make a sandwich. She sued them for not making it clear in the handbook that it didn't also automatically steer the vehicle, they awarded her a million dollars(from memory) and a new Winnebago (as she destroyed the first one).

When we were in the middle of the FFP investigation in the summer, there were lots of comments that certain clubs were quaking in their shoes because of what we were going to reveal after the result.

Nothing ever came out. What happened to all those threats hinted at by PB & others?

That story's also untrue.

Most of the crazy US lawsuit cases are made up. The famous McDonalds "hot coffee" one did exist, but if you read up on the case it's actually pretty reasonable.

You disappoint me if true (or untrue as it were), I've always had great faith in our American cousins stupidity.
