Investigation in Liverpool's 'hacking' of our computer systems

I actually feel City hold plenty aces on this. Don't get me wrong, I think the FA and PL would want this to go away quietly and are reluctant to punish Liverpool severely. On the other hand, if this has come to light because Liverpool have been up to something else that has further pissed City off, then the club could quite easily tell the FA and PL that if they don't deal with this appropriately we'll be going straight to the police with all the evidence and asking them to press criminal charges. If that happens then there will certainly be a fair few arses twitching.
Not if it's the Merseyside constabulary doing the investigation.

The question you need to ask though, is if the roles were reversed would the FA be asking the same question to Raheem?? I suspect not

Why wouldn’t they? I would say it’s more likely that the FA would do the same but the media wouldn’t report it if they did.

The Liverpool-Manchester City incident draws a strong parallel to another cheating scandal in baseball in 2017. This incident also involved the Astros, but this time as the victim of wrongdoing by the St. Louis Cardinals. MLB fined St. Louis $2 million and its first two draft picks in 2017 after Cardinals scouting director Chris Correa improperly used login credentials to access the Astros’ player database. Correa was later sentenced to 46 months in prison and received a permanent suspension for Major League Baseball.

Just coincidence ?

Surely not

Fenway seem to have a history of sports cheating

Wonder how the owners of Fenway passed the fit and proper test...
