I have borrowed our sons iPad.

On both my desktop computer and laptop runnning Windows 10 / 11 i ca access the full commentary on the OS site of our matches.

But on the iPad when I clicked the "Follow Live" button the screen goes blank.

If I don't click the link I can see the volume bar moving and the score appears - but no sound.

When the video highlights are available the iPad plays them with sound.

Is there some special setting I need on the iPad?

Has the iPad got any adblocking (or other type add-ons) installed?

Try downloading a different browser -
Firefox, Brave, Chrome and try again.

I suppose another question is how old is the iPad, ie what version of iPadOS is installed, latest is 18.4.1

Yep, it's usually either Safari (a crap browser generally) or the security settings getting in the way. Apple, rather unhelpfully, doesn't actually inform you of what's happening in the background.
