I didn’t think he was motm but no doubt him looking fitter and being able to make runs between the lines made a huge difference to our playI couldn't agree more.
KDB wasn't given M.o.M by many, but - for me - he was the difference. Even at, what, 85% fit?? He's still worth his place - so fuckin' clever!
There's no one like him. Without him, that performance yesterday doesn't happen.
A question for you all from the Ipswich forums - do you think yeaterday was:
A) Man City fully turning up from the start, finding their gears and shifting through them - and you would have beaten anyone on that performance.
B) Ipswich had seen City’s weaknesses this season and in that first 20mins spell carved chances, but didn’t have the belief to score, a Town goal would have caused a City confidence drop and issues, and the game would have been different.
C) Ipswich were not good enough defensively and allowed Man City to play their intricate attacking game too easily - especially on their right side?!
Would love to get views??
I note someone has put up the fun Alex Griffin Town content. Do watch the below Town vid for a bit more analysis and kudos to City, with your own Sean Riley giving a season view to date from a city perspective:
I don't think I was complaining much within my post. I was saying how 1996 has nothing to do with today and pointed out our flaws. Perspective would be reaslising we don't have Reid in charge any more, we are reigning champions and shouldn't set the same standards as we did in the 90s.Whilst we should never forget where we came from, it doesn't make the form this season ok. I never expected us to win it again this year either, I don't demand that, we should demand to at least be competitive though considering the players we can field with the best manager around. City of the 90s are not the City of today. PerspectiveI see we are fifth in the PL. I was delighted when we reached that position under Reid. Perspective.
On the Haaland signs 9.5 years… message 997There is a video on I think instagram showing Haaland sat on the bench, and young Ipswich fans approaching him for autographs. He gave his shirt to one, probably made the lads year! Great gesture and more kids admiring Haaland. Does no damage at all.. great PR.
Add on Steve and you have the best 3 City blogs.I'd love to know how he seems to be able to get tickets for every game. He must have a container load of points. Same with that MCFC lads account on YouTube. Every game he's there, yet he's only a young fella. How's he accumulated the necessary points to get to these limited allocation away games?
WhoTF is Echeverri ????We need to be patient but wait until Echeverri explodes onto the scene. I believe he could be a sensation in these coming months.
It’s so exciting supporting our wonderful club.
