Iranian General killed by US Drone.

Got to agree. People for some reason have decided to almost suggest Trump is a bit thick. Well look at what he has done in his life and that assumption starts to look a bit silly. I think he has a strategy, whether its a good one and from whom he is under pressure to act remains to be seen.

Yes he was clever enough to have a rich dad and only go bankrupt a couple of times. He was also clever enough to hide his intelligence for the majority of his life. When he finally reveals his genius we are all going to look very silly indeed.

He started of with a truckload of money from his father and spunked most of it up the wall. He was on the bones of his arse when he got the Apprentice gig. Why do you think he's so fearful of his tax returns ever seeing the light of day?

His life is one debt ridden mess, and he's being propped up by multiple foreign governments. His only 'strategy' is to keep his finances under wraps.

You know full well what I mean, the bloke has made president of the USA. Unless you put that down to vast swathes of Americans being thick having voted for him.

I doubt he will go down in history as a genius, but I do think his fervent haters do somewhat wrongly have him down as some sort of epic dunce.

You could have just left it at your first paragraph tbh.

You seem to have confused being a useful figurehead for intelligence.

It's pretty much impossible to make an argument that Trump is intelligent. First and foremost just listen to him, he's incoherent, has the vocabulary of a 9 year old and cannot express any sort of complex thought.

Then there's the fact he's used legal coercion to suppress his school records because he's so ashamed of them, or that at the university his dad paid through the teeth for him to get into, his professor would regularly lament that he was the dumbest student he'd ever had the misfortune to teach.

We know he's lost his 9 figure inheritance, we know he's bankruptedalmost every business he's tried, we know he lost more money than any other American between 1984 and 1995, and we know that he's been living off 10 figure loans from Deutsche Bank guaranteed by Russian Billionaires who've most likely been using him and his name to launder money for 15 years.

The idea that he's intelligent because he got elected holds about as much weight as him being a genius businessman and self-made billionaire because that's what The Apprentice made him out to be. The program that used to film around things like his helicopter getting repossessed or buildings they were supposed to film in getting shut down because he couldn't pay his bills.

His entire life he's been a bullshitter, and one day TV executives realised that they could sell the bullshit to TV audiences. Then political advisers realised that the single most important factor in a US election is name recognition and he had tons of it, so they picked him up and sold him. Twice they failed, because democratic voters didn't take him seriously, so they had him swap to being a far right republican and found that their voter base was far more receptive of racist populism.

He's a puppet, not a genius.

I've never know a self proclaimed rich genius be so fearful of releasing his tax returns or education transcripts.

By the way, although unsubstantiated it has been reported that Trump's IQ is 73. Given the fact that Trump has taken out multiple law suits against his former schools preventing them from revealing his transcripts or level of education, I'm willing to bet that number isn't very far from the truth.

I was born in 1971 and I cannot remember a time in my life when large parts of the Middle East were not at war with one and other. May be it’s cos it’s hot and full of different religions and sub religions and has it’s fair share of nutters and intolerant views of others throughout the region. Whether the US drone strikes this bloke or not rest assured this area will still be a hot bed of intolerance and hate and be beating their neighbours up. This action won’t change that.
I was born 12 years before you but it’s the same story. There was a conflict around mid 70’s and once again violence was followed by negotiations to avoid war. My gaffer said at the time “it’s peace on tick”. For the younger ones, tick was a colloquial word for credit or paying for it in the future, he turned out to be so correct.

There’s a large population in the Middle East that are completely driven by religious values often being brain washed, they don’t think for themselves or have any empathy with anyone else’s point of view or their lifestyle. Iran has a younger population that is trying to remove the religious handcuffs, hopefully they achieve their goal.

I don't doubt your general point is correct, but I can't see him being quite as much if a mess as this or his political opponents would surely have made more of it?
