I think most right thinking people won't shed a tear for Soleimani and will agree he got what's coming to him.

What is also true is that carrying out a drone strike at the main international airport of a 3rd party sovereign state, a country that is supposed to be an ally, is fucking mental. By all means bomb the **** if he is visiting militias he's supporting in Syria, but even then make sure that the consequences have been thought out and planned for. Trump is a fucking maniac and he's slowly turning the US into a rogue state.

I was talking to a guy last night,he claims 31 Jan will be the day that WW3 starts.

is this a serious probability,or scaremongering at it's finest ?

Just want to plan next few weeks if it does happen that's all

The sad irony of the Dresden fire bombing was that those who perished were probably the group of Germans who had the least support for Hitler and the Nazis.

Still though, it’s another attempt, by the hard left on here, to attack Britain on a thread topic where it has only indirect guilt.

And Dresden-

A) wasn’t in the modern era

B) was in the middle of a world war against a nation trying to take over the world and eradicate an entire race of people, whilst being the greatest military the world had ever seen. A country that had tried to invade and occupy Britain and engaged in its own bombing campaign of British cities

Yes Dresden was a stain of a decision but you’re not factoring in the whole context of what that horrific war meant and was.

I genuinely believe, had some of you been around and had this forum existed during the 1940’s, some of you would be more critical of Britain than the Nazis at the time, such is the anti British and American sentiment on here.

A further point. The troubles in the Middle East really kicked off in the 80s. Anyone living in Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Israel may well feel like it's a War. And a lot longer than WW2.

It was 70 years ago and it was a world war with comparable action from the enemy.

It was also to try and stop the Reich and National Socialism taking over the world, to stop our own Islands being invaded and to stop an evil regime that was busy trying to wipe out an entire race of people, gays, the disabled and anyone who they felt wasn't pure enough.

You keep on trying to make silly points and people will continue to pull you up for it.
