Iranian General killed by US Drone.

I suspect most of those on here who think this was a lawful and sensible killing well deserved by the victim, would had they been born in Iran be the people waving death to America flags. You would only see it from your own patriotic perspective.

Your different point of view wouldn't be tolerated in Iran and I've little doubt you would either be in exile or dead because of it.

Its why the constant defending of such regimes is mind boggling.

Thank fuck we live in a democracy where you can hold your opinions, no matter how much some might disagree with them.

Do you not think it was well deserved?

I’m against how it happened and I despise Trump but are you seriously going to argue this **** didn’t deserve it?

Listening to BBC 6 Music earlier and the news came on. His funeral in Iran was the lead item, which is understandable yet the way they reported it was sickening. They described how thousands "honoured" (the exact word they used) Suleimani, how the Supreme Leader broke down in tears delivering his eulogy and how his daughter threatened revenge. Thought I was listening to the English language version of Press TV. One of the worst examples of BBC bias I've ever heard.

I've always suspected the BBC had an Iranian, Islamic-extremism bias.

It's one of my least favourite biases of theirs after Brexit/Labour/Man United/Anti-Sikh/Anti-Hindu/Israel/Palestine/Anti-Catholicism/Anti-Welsh/Pro-London etc etc..

Read up on Soleimani and his war crimes against people.

Just read up on the man whose death you keep defending as "immoral". There are people in Iran celebratign his death, but cannot do so publicly because of the regimes grip of power there. Try being Iranian and criticising the current regime.

Pretty much seems that way, doesn't it.

And the British Government.

The British government praised it?

When was that? Because Raab didn't endorse it, nor did Johnson. Both just expressed hope for de-escalation. Christ, Raab pretty much said the only reason it was legal was because of the US justification of self-defence which has since crumbled.

Macron and Merkel likewise. There's a deafening silence from US allies.

If you want an example of a positive reaction, compare it with this -
