Iranian General killed by US Drone.

The British government praised it?

When was that? Because Raab didn't endorse it, nor did Johnson. Both just expressed hope for de-escalation. Christ, Raab pretty much said the only reason it was legal was because of the US justification of self-defence which has since crumbled.

Macron and Merkel likewise. There's a deafening silence from US allies.

If you want an example of a positive reaction, compare it with this -

Raab on Maar said the US were completely within their rights and the UK Government were on the same page.

Maybe not praise but certainly not condemnation.

Raab said they had the right to self defence, which implicitly means that if it wasn't in self-defence, as the US press is discovering, then they didn't have the right to do it.

It's completely hedging his bets.

Ok, Iran is a much better place now it is run by murderous islamist crackpots, and everything is the Yanks fault.

Close. Everything is indeed the fault of the greatest purveyor of warring & geopolitical instability the world has ever known, aka the Yanks

However, Islamic Iran is only marketed as worse than Monarchist Iran under a US dictator - they have many problems (mostly due to the Yanks) but no one suggested it’s bliss, just that you ignorantly asserted Pahlavi Iran was bliss

Your different point of view wouldn't be tolerated in Iran and I've little doubt you would either be in exile or dead because of it.

Its why the constant defending of such regimes is mind boggling.

Thank fuck we live in a democracy where you can hold your opinions, no matter how much some might disagree with them.
I am happy I don´t live in a place like that. As you say I´d probably be dead and you´d be leading the Quds in defence of your country that from where you would be standing looked like it was being bullied by the most powerful military force the world had yet seen.

Do you not think it was well deserved?

I’m against how it happened and I despise Trump but are you seriously going to argue this **** didn’t deserve it?
He may well have done. But I think you´ll agree that both Bush and Blair are responsible for far more carnage than him.

The Middle East really didn't need the US to destabilise it.

Didn’t need them yet every instability in Middle East is squarely rooted in actions of US, UK and Israel. Funnily enough, hasn’t been long enough for myopic revisionism of recent history

You said

It's been universally criticised. No one has supported Trump on this except his closest circle.

I pointed out that the British Government had supported it and Raab had said the US were perfectly within their rights and the British Government were on the same page.

Your statement was incorrect.

P.S. Don't expect any more responses to your childish game.

Whilst Soleimani was indeed a right c**t it's been proven time and time again that this isn't the way to deal with issues in the middle East, particularly Iran. No doubt now there are going to be a lot of innocent lives lost.

Obama probably wasn't tough enough on Iran but he had managed to get a Nuclear deal in place that was working.

What Trump has done since has been piss poor and has probably set back peace negotiations and Iranian progressiveness by about 20years. Iranian people were beginning to protest but all that has gone down the shit-pan now.
