People slagged me to death and even some claimed i knew fuck all about football when defending Stevie to the hilt.

I always knew he would come out on top, great players do.

I remember that too IP formally FDM. Like you say all great players eventually shine through. Superman and Robinho are on another level to most players.

I dont think there is 1 player in our 1st team squad that has not been victim of the bluemoon bashers.

But then it is a football forum and its membership, like all forums is made up of posters with very varied views.

Lets be honest, if we can have a player of Robinho's quality and still subject him to the sh*te that some on here resort to, then every other player in the team has to accept that thats what happens on a forum, and best advice is probably not to chance a look on here!

Much like anything - car insurance, waitress service in a restaurant etc - it's very common and very easy to be negative and complain, but to get compliments often takes treble the effort. Don't pay it much attention - for every negative post on the internet there are plenty of people who read it and don't agree, but won't reply and so their view is never known. That's normal.

However, Stevie should know that there are people on here who will go out of their way to stand up for him now and pretty much forever - he's Mr Man City.
