Apologies if already posted, couldn't see it elsewhere, have just seen this:

Manchester City are set to offer midfielder Stephen Ireland a new contract - just 12 months after he signed a five-year deal with the club.
The 22-year-old Irish international has caught the eye of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger with a string of impressive performances this season.
Ireland has even eclipsed £32.5m record signing Robinho and has bagged nine goals this term.
Now City boss Mark Hughes plans to reward him with a double-your-money pay rise to kill of any speculation he could leave Eastlands, reports The Sun.
City are also set to offer teenage striker Daniel Sturridge an improved contract.
At least that will put to bed even the slightest chance that he'll go anywhere. Well done Stevie, it just shows that if you work hard enough and perform then you will get your reward.
