...Lazio. Apprently.

Lazio still in contact with Manchester City after business Kolarov and Garrido. his time the British press club Lotito approaches to the Citizens' interest Biancocelesti midfielder Stephen Ireland (24), median that could leave the City given the numerous shopping club. An idea for the time being, that in the coming hours could turn into something more concrete.

id hate Stevie to leave, regardless of whether you think he's good enough to stay or not...however if her did leave, i'd much rather he went abroad.

£12 million and I can live with that. He would never move to Italy though that league would suit his football perfectly.

Personally I would like to see us keeping players like Ireland and Bellamy but if we cant and they want to go, selling them for decent money to clubs outside the league like Lazio and Celtic is the next best option.

In reality I very much doubt these sort of clubs would pay their wages or be willing to meet our transfer fees. Would be worth taking slightly less money though to get them out of sight and mind .

imo I think the Italian game would be perfect for him to sort himself out, it's a slower paced game so I would send him away on a 12month loan and see where his head is at this time next year. If it's back on form then bring him back if not the ship him out for good.
