The Blue Buus... is callin us... Driver, where you
Does anybody think that he should end his self imposed exile now?

Me? I think he's proved a point, is now at the richest club in the world, best young midfielder in Europe (on current display) and I think he will be protected and respected by the Irish F.A.

I don't like to see his countrymen fighting over the Ireland position, as I think he's close to becoming hated, within the set up. He's said he'll call them 'when he's ready', but I think he's just punishing the national team, still in fury. I think he's proved his point now and it's time to let go of the past.

Am I the only one thinking like this?

Better for city if he does not play for them. Less chance of injury and gets a rest.

No, don't want him to play for them. He is playing brillaint for us.. Wouldn't want to risk anything.

I would rather he didnt play for Ireland and concentrated on City but its upto him??

That Brady guy the Assistant Manager of Ireland was well wound up and stressed when asked about Stevie though!!! Think he keeps asking and getting a no from stevie!!

Hmm... Not sure about that. Might be right, but I think Brady has kept his distance and it's more that the Irish media keep pestering him because of Ireland's brilliant form.

I feel sorry for Brady.

I don't think Stevie will play for us again. I would love it if it he did, but too much has happened and some of the press he has received has been terrible.

I think he'll stay away.

Can you show me what you mean by this post? Have you anything I could look at? I'm a bit confused as to why the Irish press are giving Brady a hard time, if you're saying they're to do with the problem!

I just think it's an utter shame not to play for your country of birth with the pride that should be there, REGARDLESS of whether the lad plays for us. It's not a desire for players' ambitions to solely play for their club!

It's a natural want to play for the national side.

sorry Bigga, I'm away with the fairies today.

Since the news broke about Stevie's grans he has been ridiculed in the Irish media, all mediums. Radio, TV and the newspapers. He has received hate mail from supposed Irish fans. I don't have anything concrete for you but trust me, he has been disrespected by the FAI, a lot.

It's only now that the media know what a top player he is. they are putting pressure on him to come back. they are putting pressure on the management team to get him back.

He has every reason to be aggrieved with the FAI, going back a good few years, when he was breaking in our first team, he couldn't get on for an under age team managed by Brian kerr, that played in his hometown of Cobh. this was after a big hullaballo about him missing the game because he had first team commitments. Ended going back and not getting a run in front of his family and mates. bang out of order by Kerr. I think this is where a lot of it stems from. Judging from what I've heard back here
