Today against West Ham he was definately out of sorts. Has his gran died again or someone nicked his magic underpants?
 
He was off today.
I didn't even realize that he hasn't scored since Dec. 26th 2008 until the commentators pointed it out.
 
i personally think he is entitled to one bad game after his previous performances. not having a go but he has been our best player all season .
 
Creative wise it didn't work out for him but still worked his arse off for the team.
 
totally agree mate in fact i think hes bin off for a while now, without doubt hes bin our best this season but does that show how bad weve been. im not trying to knock the lad but maybe he was over achieving in the early part of the season?
 
Since the turn of the year i think he's been pretty poor apart from the odd game, his passing is nowhere near as good as it was in the first half of the season and hopefully we'll see him getting back to the top of his game sooner rather than later

Agree totally mate. He will have the odd bad spell as every player does. His work rate is still great tho.
 
He hasn't matched the standard of the earlier part of the season for a while but it will come good for him again. My main criticism of him at the moment is that he doesn't seem to be lifting his head up when he has the ball and too many passes are going to the opposition. Needs to take a second more and look around him.
