Is FFP relevant at all now?

I pose the question since I am fully prepared for us missing out on 4th now. I think we'll lose against Arsenal and will be relying on the rags fucking up, which may or may not happen.

So if we miss out on the CL next season, will we be in any way hampered by the loss of revenue and therefore how much we can spend? Or have our sponsorship and other revenues now grown so large that FFP is no longer relevant for us?

Does anyone know, or have a view?

I still say FFP should be cancelled and replaced with COP:- to stand for CAN OWNERS PAY. In other words should the banks come calling or other creditors have the owners enough money to pay of the creditors/bank If they haven't then the club should be relegated and a complete transfer embargo placed on the club until the debt is paid of in full. If they cannot then the FA should step in and force the club close, or sell the players until the debt is paid of in full.

I'm bumping this, since I think it's a very relevant question, in the circumstances...

With transfer season and what I assume will be the biggest spending year I can see some record transfers. So is this still in effect or has it lost its charm after pinching us?

Very simple answer mate, it's still in place so it's still relevant.

It's a Fair COP guv.
