I do prefer the new badge....it will look even better when shown around the world when we get into champs league. The eagle is a full on statement imo..

I'll take every opportunity to say the current badge is an embarrassment and we should revert back to one of the old ones or the Manchester coat of arms badges from Wembly shirts.

I don't think we're allowed (something to do with the council owning the rights, and only permitting the use on cup final shirts), but it would look fantastic.

Just looking at some of the mock up PUMA kits and our current badge just looks out of place.
Never been much of a fan of the eagle badge.
Should we do a Chelsea and ditch this badge for a more traditonal one? maybe update it a touch.

not at all true. in your household maybe but not according to the majority of those i know. the old one is suitable for nostalgia purposes only. i mean, if we'd never seen it before and changed from the current one to a boring old round badge, we'd go bananas!

For reference, this is the old old badge, as used on some official documents, programmes, etc, through the 60's. I wonder if people complained about 'wanting to go back to the old one' in the 70's?

Bin the stars, keep the new (old) one FTW! A simplification, with more than a passing nod to our history, our heritage and our roots. Gets my vote!
