Is it time to get a big target man?

Kane's english so take the market rate and double it. plus he plays for spuds so take that doubled figure and now double it again.
in all honesty i could see a min figure of 225mil being talked about.

When big strong defences just pack the box as against Wigan we need another presence in there. He doesn't have to be a world class forward but he would need to know his playing options would be limited. Good in the air and physical. He may score some header's and make space for Sergio. Giroud would have been a great option for us and he is skilful too.

I watched the Chelsea v Barcelona game and they had the same problem, dominated possession but aside from one mistake they would have lost the game. But for the width of the posts they could still have lost 3-1 in a game they almost totally dominated.

Pep will never buy such a forward but I feel he is wrong and especially for the domestic cups against lower league opposition.

Crosses into a packed box are a waste of time with one small forward. Simply need to go 3 at the back which we can now with Laporte and play both Aguero and Jesus. If that doesnt work, push one of the CHs up as a third striker.
So no. Not required.

De Bruyne and Bernardo's assit rate would improve no end with a target man.
Sometimes a plan B, C, D is needed. A big lump up top wouldn't be the worst thing.

Bring back Dzeko!
He would sit on the bench and play a bit part role for 2/3 years.

Don't think it will happen, think the Negredo of the first 6 months would've been ideal, otherwise a good footballing forward who is taller than 6'2" and available? maybe Lewandowski? otherwise we're taking a risk and could end up with another Bony or Llorente
