to book Balotelli each match?

Seriously, I understand some of his cards were deserved but it's quickly becoming a joke...

Lovely volley today though :D

Thought he had a good game, second time on the run he has been good with us, very surprised. He needs to be more consistant with certain teams of course but credit where it's due.

I believe that is nine domestic bookings and an automatic suspension kicks in at 10.
The cynic in me wouldn't mind if he picked up a card against Wigan, meaning he misses the Reading game. Not being patronising or counting any chickens of course, but would hope we have enough in the squad to beat a Championship side at home.

mario is just an easy target for the officials to prove they are doing their job,i believe they have discussed mario with each other,i mean where was the arm around the shoulder from clatenburg?

Atkinson clearly did it as a demonstration of his apology to Fergie, who had just had a rant at him for not being pro-United enough. Therefore he booked Balotelli for accidentally doing what Rooney deliberately did as a way of proving his integrity.

Just seen on the TV, he caught him in the face with his arm, ok his feet weren't off the floor and he didn't try to break his cheekbone but he knew full well what he was doing. Yellow card correct imo. clatternburg still a twat for his non-decision last weekend and then the lies afterwards.

Crappenberg had a very subdued game last night, I thought. He knew the eyes of everyone would be on 'im, and Mario's booking, while clear and appropriate in the general run of things, lends the lie to the fact that Crappenberg SAW AND DEALT WITH ROONEY'S ELBOW all the more of a lie!

I make it 7 domestic bookings not 9:

Wolves (a)
West Brom (a) - the red was a straight red, not 2nd yellow
West Ham (a)
Newcastle (a)
Notts Co (h)
Fulham (h)
Villa (h)

And one Europa yellow, on his debut in Timisoara.

Nearly as many bookings as goals, must be some sort of a record.
