I hate when people take deserved titles and accomplishments away by calling it luck.

And yes Mourinho is a sore loser, but losing is hard when you're not used to it I suppose, its all part of what makes him that good of a manager

The perception one gets is that Mourihno is a sore loser and an ungracious winner.
His constant mourhning when his team loses. When it should be his abject tactics or team selection that is to be blamed. Last night he fielded a stable of thoroughbreds but yoked them like a team of ploughhorses.
The textbook case of crisis management is that the Boss should accept the blame for the decisive loss. Blaming the officials and spouting conspiracy is an indication that he is a sore loser. Is RM a minnow club in the overall scheme of things?

He forgets that Inter won last season with some of the LUCKY breaks.

Fist off, he had every right to complain after the semi final because IMO, that was not a red card decision and at 0 - 0 that completely changed the game. terrible decision, and now Real look all but done. Hard to lose a derby like that, a lot of pressure on him to beat Barca.

Perhaps you need me to spell it out clearly? We are refering to Championship League especially vis a vis Barca including last season. Are we?

Regarding the red card the most important thing is not what we think or opined. Its what the Referee decided and why he made the call which I cogently outlined in another thread.

Regarding Luck perhaps Fergie or Mourihno (both practitioners of the dark arts) are the better authorities. Or is it Paddy Barclay?

Both teams were PlayActing. Playacting can be in many forms of display. Let me clarify.
As I posted before Mourinho has a stable of thoroughbreds but he decided to yoke them like a team of plowhorses. With Pepe as the pivotal 'lead' horse, Mourihno flawed plan was found out & thats why the meltdown. He was hoisted by his own petard (i.e. PePetard).
Pepe is notorious for his assault on the Getafe player which we all agreed here was indefensible. He served a 10 game ban.

Now in this CL el-clasico, four minutes prior to him being red carded the idiot was involved in Mascherano being booked. His gymnastic histrionics with his rollovers was funny. Isn't that playacting? Was the referee impressed?
Now Pepe's sideway thrust ( ala taekwondo kick) and rising above Alves knee is indication of a violent conduct offence. You can't fool football cognoscenti or referees, especially top notch UEFA referees.
So why are we surprised that he was ejected given his violent conduct history, his playacting & pushing the envelope with his dirty football.

What we opined here about Alves feigning injury is immaterial. The important thing is the Referee deemed its a red card offence.
